002222 Principal Consultant – RPA required in the UK Salary Negotiable

Our client is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organisation in the fast-growing tech segments of intelligent process automation. They are expanding their business due to client demand within the RPA sector they require a Principal Consultant be part of their team. They are excited about helping their customers leverage data and laying the foundation for the actual, practical implementation of machine learning.
They are a leading provider of intelligent automation solutions that enables rapid return on process automation. Their experienced team brings a blend of delivery, engineering and managed service capabilities to drive business change and deliver value for their customers. They work closely with their customer and use an agile framework to deliver high-quality results at pace.


We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about developing world-class solutions and who is a keen champion intelligent automation. You will be leading the technical element of the sales process (ca 50%) and supporting project delivery (ca 50%), primarily working with BluePrism, over time we expect to introduce you to Appian and other automation technologies we may introduce.

This is a client-facing role which combines strong leadership attributes working across all dimensions of the consultancy lifecycle, including pre-sales, commercial, relationships, technology, delivery and people.


Create & Influence

  • Building strategic relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted advisor
  • Identifying opportunities to solve customer’s business problems through intelligent automation
  • Supporting the Client Partner or Client Executing completing proposal and building business cases
  • Leading the sales process from a technical perspective, delivering demos and proof of concepts
  • Defining customer requirements and working with internal teams to create innovative solutions
  • Contributing to the development of assets e.g. thought leadership, R&D, white papers, blogs, delivery tools

Deliver & Inspire

  • Act as the customer advocate on projects ensuring alignment to the customer’s priorities/business case
  • Architecting solutions & providing hands-on technical expertise with the engineering and support teams
  • Working with cross-functional teams including business analysts, delivery managers, developers, quality assurance analysts to ensure projects are delivered successfully
  • Inspiring and motivating teams sharing knowledge and experience, assisting with learning & development initiatives

Key skills \ Knowledge:

  • 5 years relevant experience of which 2-3 years hands-on RPA experience, preferably BluePrism
  • Experience of a senior client-facing technical role, with full ownership of delivering end to end projects
  • Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile practices
  • Previous exposure and understanding of pre-sales activity
  • Ability to build demos, prototypes and respond to proposals
  • Financial Services or Insurance experience would be ideal but not essential  
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented to drive projects forward, looking to deliver a high-quality solution to clients
  • Strong teaming abilities
  • Ideally, you will have an entrepreneurial mindset also flexible, approachable and a desire to be part of a growing fast-paced organisation.
