They are expanding their business due to client demand within the RPA sector they require a Principal Consultant be part of their team. They are excited about helping their customers leverage data and laying the foundation for the actual, practical implementation of machine learning.
They are a leading provider of intelligent automation solutions that enables rapid return on process automation. Their experienced team brings a blend of delivery, engineering and managed service capabilities to drive business change and deliver value for their customers. They work closely with their customer and use an agile framework to deliver high-quality results at pace.

Requirement:

As a Delivery Manager, you are responsible for the success of our customer delivery. You must enjoy leading teams to understand our customers’ problems and finding solutions through process changes and the implementation of Appian and intelligent automation solutions.

You will be managing projects with mid to large scale enterprises, delivering digital process automation solutions successfully to meet the customers’ needs. To do this, you will work with Delivery team colleagues, the Engineering team (UK and India), Customer Success, infrastructure, and Sales and Marketing. The size of projects can range from 3 month to 3-year projects, so you must be able to flex your style and approach for the scale and complexity of projects.

Essential:

  • Delivering our customer’s projects
    • Being accountable for delivering customer projects on time and in the budget.
    • Senior stakeholder management of our customers.
    • Guaranteeing customer satisfaction by acting as a trusted advisor to the customer as a senior member of the Delivery team whilst managing quality expectations.
    • Setting up and scoping projects; understanding what the customer is trying to achieve.
    • Working with customers to understand their business case, defining how products and services can best be used to return measurable business value.
    • Leading customer workshops to define and agree on scope and requirements.
    • Applying the appropriate level of methodology and best practices, given the scale of the project.

  • Ability to run full lifecycle, complex projects with customers; defining how products and services can best be used to return measurable business value
  • Ability to build effective relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Ability to run workshops, deal with confrontation and negotiate
  • Ability to motivate and drive productivity in a cross-functional team
  • Ability to develop plans, estimates and resource models and manage delivery to timescale, cost and quality
  • Ability to apply the appropriate level of methodology and best practices to handle large, complex projects
  • Has a deep understanding of the different stages across the project lifecycle such as high-level scoping, detailed design, post-implementation quality assurance

Ability to lead and/or manage multiple software projects at once

  • Proven experience in a Project Manager or hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager role
  • Experience with software projects, ideally working with engineers on workflow and automation solutions
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience of leading multiple successful project deliveries from initiation to close
  • Proven experience using Agile methodology
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
  • PRINCE2 or PMP certifications would be preferred, but not essential
