They are expanding their business due to client demand with a Professional Services Director to be part of their leadership team. Requirement:

The Professional Services Director is responsible for the success of all client and internal projects, leading our pre-sales, delivery, business consulting and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our customers The Professional Services Director will have P&L responsibility for Professional Services.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, using a consultative approach to solution design and delivery to understand and then solve their business problems. You will have direct leadership responsibility for delivery and engineering teams. The projects will range from a short discovery to a large implementation running over serval months; a flexible approach to deliver in projects of varying scale and complexity is required.

Essential:

  • Overall accountability for the delivery of a portfolio of projects on which you will be the escalation point and project sponsor.
  • Experience assessing, re-designing and implementing BPM, RPA processes;
  • Provide strategic advice into the solution design, programme and project delivery to ensure that solutions solve customers’ problems.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices and process flows in BPM & RPA processes;
  • Solid experience of software and an understanding of tools (i.e. Appian, Blue Prism, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Provide hands-on support on key projects, using your experience to identify when we have done enough analysis and pushing the team and the customer to make timely decisions.
  • Optimise return on Professional Services work through a focus on billable utilisation and driving high margin work.
  • Regularly deepens knowledge and skills speciality in delivery areas.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.
  • Providing coaching and challenge to the engineering team to ensure that projects are set up, structured, planned and resourced in the most appropriate way.

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Help grow and develop the Practice working with Client Partners and leading Professional Services in Digital Transformation and relationship building.

Key responsibilities:

Build a scale-able delivery methodology, appropriate for the profile of projects, which supports the growth of the business.

Ownership of the project management process design and governance and controls to improve delivery quality.

Work with the Client Partners to maximise billable utilisation.

Lead a high performing team where each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution.

Key Skills\Knowledge:

Viewed as a subject matter expert in areas such as (Digital, AI, RPA) Transformation at expert level.

Experience in professional services / consulting with some experience of working for large consulting firm.
Experience in leading software or technology projects.

Experience required:

Minimum 8 years delivery and management of a Professional Services \ Consultancy business in digital transformation and/or intelligent automation.
• You are a highly driven, self-starter with a track record of leading and building professional services solutions.
• Consultative solution design and delivery expertise.
• You have a strong consulting skillset, are able to frame, structure and quality control a project, and to manage teams.
• You have expertise in the Financial Services sectors.
