Our client a leading Service Organisation are expanding their Managing Consulting Business and have opportunities for individual with a proven track record and skills in the following areas: Part of the Global Supply Chain Practice you will be responsible for leading and growing the UK/European business.

· Identifying and closing new consulting sales opportunities in supply chain management domain for existing clients of the company as well as bringing new clients by leverage on personal network

· Delivering value to clients by addressing strategic and operational supply chain issues. Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience

· Enhancing team’s knowledge base by bringing sound understanding of best practices and latest developments in supply chain management. Developing frameworks, methodologies and other formats to present information and ideas

· Growing the practice by recruiting and grooming consultants locally for deployment on supply chain consulting engagements globally

Desired Qualifications:

· Graduate Degree Required. Business Degree preferred. Internationally recognized supply chain certifications will be an added advantage

· Minimum 15 years of work experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership role preferably in supply chain managing/consulting position

· Must have led major Supply Chain transformation engagements for reputed organizations

Ability to work effectively in diverse, foreign and multi-cultural environments

Business advisory SME to key Supply Chain clients.

Consulting engagement delivery (including team leadership, project administration, client liaison).

Programme management of major client programmes.

Business transformation, benefits & Change management

Opportunity identification and development

Client relationship development

Sales support (pre-sales, proposal development,)

Practice enhancement (collateral development, thought leadership contributions, knowledge management).

Leverage of strong Supply Chain contacts list.

Min.10+ years experience in the Supply Chain sector.

Main Responsibilities:

Holistic exposure to Supply Chain discipline including Supply Chain Planning, Logistics/Transportation, Sourcing/Procurement, etc. Experience in solving complex problems, formulating & implementing Supply chain strategies. Strong understanding of supply chain concepts & principles in client facing roles.

Work exposure across multiple countries in Europe especially UK, Nordics, BeNLx

Industry experience across Retail, Manufacturing, Hi-tech and/or Government sector

Experience of setting & leading teams

Open for extensive travelling up to 100%

Preferably having exposure to Sales, Consulting & technology
